Project Description:

In the 2nd project with Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home, the social contribution committee raised funds from employees to purchase 50 school kits for 50 children aged between 6 to 12 years old. These primary school children will be starting school from January 2006 and thus the school kit, which comprises of a school bag, stationery, drawing materials, book voucher, etc., will be very useful.

In order to raise funds to purchase the 50 school kits, the committee members set up a pledge board for employees to choose the items they wish to donate. Upon completion, the committee presented the school kits to the children who were very happy to receive the present from the employees.
